The San Ysidro venue for this outstanding photography exhibition is an unfinished work of art. The building is being refurbished, construction is underway, and you can feel the energy and love of the border community in ‘Galeria el Salon at Casa Familiar, The Front’ (built in 1927 as the first Catholic Church in San Ysidro, California). Photographer Stefan Falke has captured the beauty, and amazing contribution of the artists of border communities from Matamoros to Tijuana. His beautiful environmental portraits show the positive energy, resilience, and promise of La Frontera. During the exhibition: ‘La Frontera: Artists along the US Mexican Border’ by Stefan Falke the Galeria el Salon at Casa Familiar, The Front is now a completed work of art. Bravo! Well done!
