Art on the U.S.-Mexico border in Baja California would simply not be the same without collectors Patty Fontes and Alonso Elias and their Colección Elias+Fontes. Gretchen Baer, artist and activist based in Bisbee, Arizona, is well known for her colorful oil paintings, crazy art cars, and flamboyantly- themed art, musical and political events. She and her ‘Border Bedazzlers’ (mostly the children of Naco), currently completed one mile of border paintings on the U.S. Mexico border in Naco, Sonora, Mexico.
