Alida Cervantes

The Mexican Painter Alida Cervantes lives in San Diego and crosses the border every day to work in her studio in Tijuana.

Q: What is the essence of your life on the border?

Alida: “The essence of my life living on the border is that some of my life is on one side, some of it is on the other. And I always have to get in my car and cross an inspection area to get to either one.”
