I am happy to announce a new exhibition of

“La Frontera: Artists Along the U.S.-Mexican Border”

American Space Leipzig presents a special photo exhibition by New York City based photographer Stefan Falke.

For his current long term project “La Frontera: Artists Along the U.S.-Mexican Border” Stefan Falke traveled along the entire 2000 miles long Mexican/US border and to date photographed 200 artists in order to show the vibrant cultural side of a region which is portrayed by the international media with the sole focus on violent crime and illegal immigration.

The photo exhibition is free and open to the public at Hörsaalgebäude, 1st floor, Leipzig University until the end of January.

The exhibition will be opened on 29 November, 6:30 pm in front of lecture hall 4 by American Space Leipzig Director Prof. Crister S. Garrett and Border studies and Latino/a culture expert, Prof. Gabriele Pisarz-Ramirez.
