I am proud to have my work with artists on the border presented by UTEP’s Exhibition Practices Class at UTEP Centennial Museum, in El Paso, opening April 25th, and I am looking forward to seeing what the class has come up with! I am sure it will be a great exhibition, especially since it will include art work of the featured artists!!
Statement by the class:
“The Border That Does Not Divide: Artists and Art Along La Frontera” hopes to challenge pre-conceived notions of life along the border region by personifying artwork by border artists.
I have never met the class except on Skype 🙂 here with their teacher Dr. Elisabeth Sommer who initiated the idea for the exhibition. I am looking forward to meeting them all April 25th!!
